About AdOC

The Association of Contemporary Jewelry and Goldsmithing Designers (AdOC) celebrates and elevates contemporary goldsmithing as a vital art form. Founded by a multidisciplinary team of designers, AdOC highlights the cultural and artistic significance of ornamental objects throughout history.

Mission
The is aim to reclaim the role of contemporary jewelry and goldsmithing within the broader context of the plastic arts, fostering its recognition as a timeless, symbolic form of personal expression.

Annual Exhibitions
Since 2016, AdOC has hosted the Exhibition: Contemporary Goldsmithing in collaboration with prestigious museums across Madrid, aligning with the Madrid Design Festival and ARCO Art Week. These events contribute to Madrid's transformation into a global hub for contemporary art.

2025 IX Exhibition: Contemporary Goldsmithing
Our 2025 exhibition will take place at the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, featuring specialized thematic displays at renowned venues including:

Curator
Magdalena Vélez Salinas, cofounder and president of AdOC, leads the exhibition. An architect and lecturer with expertise in artistic goldsmithing, Magdalena combines professional practice with artistic research to curate a compelling showcase of contemporary design.

 
 

CLUSTER & AdOC SCHOLARSHIP

AdOC is committed to nurturing emerging talent. A scholarship will be awarded to a young designer, offering full participation in the 2025 exhibition, including the display of their work, a feature in the event brochure, and promotion across our social media platforms.
