As a child, Alisa Vroda imagined herself as Thumbelina from Andersen's fairy tale, emerging from a flower. She loved to dream, collect flowers, and draw ornaments. Creativity and meditation have become integral parts of her life. Before turning to jewellery-making, she spent many years painting. Later, she pursued jewellery studies in Florence.

Alice draws inspiration from structured forms, untamed nature, and multi-layered antiques in her work. For her, these elements embody the spiritual essence of her jewellery. She employs a variety of materials and techniques, all unified by a fractal self-similarity.

Alice believes that London and its creative community provide unparalleled opportunities for artistic growth. The city's vibrant energy encourages a conscious and meaningful approach to materials, the exploration of unexpected technologies, and the ability to imbue matter with spirit.

Alice travels extensively in search of indigenous peoples on the brink of extinction, captivated by the language of untouched nature, ancient motifs, and a profound love for the natural world. The internal indentations of her rings and pendants are designed to enhance the healing properties of precious stones by bringing the minerals into direct contact with the skin.

All the treasures and luxury of the whole world are worthless without our existence. We are the main decoration within it.

This motto inspires Alice to communicate meaning through her beautiful artworks. For her, creativity is a form of meditation, and jewellery is born of eternity.

Ukrainian artist Alice continues to be deeply affected by the war in her home country, which began with Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014. Alice won a competition to design the Lotus of Unity public fountain in the heart of Zhytomyr—a project aimed at uniting Ukrainians enduring the hardships of war. The fountain inspired her silver Lotus of Unity spinner ring, formed from circles of prayer palms, around which the hands of mutual support rotate. The flower symbolises our unity in self-discovery.
