Cindy’s creations transcend the realm of traditional accessories, transforming into sculptural pieces that harmonise with the wearer’s body to tell deeply personal stories. She sees jewellery as a medium to bridge ideas and the human form. While aesthetics remain central to her work, each design reflects an intimate exploration of themes such as beauty standards, happiness, success, relationships, and personal experiences.

Cindy Xinyi Wu, originally from China and now based in London, is a jewellery designer with a multidisciplinary background in visual arts, gained during her studies in the United States. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design from Central Saint Martins and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Design: Jewellery Pathway at the same institution.

Pushing the boundaries of conventional jewellery design, Cindy is known for her innovative approach. She frequently experiments with unconventional materials and combines traditional metalsmithing techniques with cutting-edge digital fabrication, crafting distinctive pieces that redefine the art of jewellery.
