This ring was inspired by my research into to what lies beneath the surface where the earth protects its hidden treasure which has been captured millions of years ago in molten rock and how it could be discovered. This ring is part of a series of rings described as the chiselled collection under the larger series of Beneath the Surface. The Chiselled collection tries to depict the more angular erosion of the rock face to reveal the hidden gemstones. The ring has been created using the lost wax process and the gemstones are cast in place.
