Cristina Citton is the soul of Ha.Ma., an innovative approach to alternative jewellery materials. She was born near Venice, in the land of Antonio Canova, the foremost representative of marble sculpture. At the age of 30, she began studying jewellery at Vicenza’s Institute, and soon after, she began her research into creating alternative jewellery inspired by nature and symbolic shapes, deeply connected to her emotions.

Driven by a strong inner desire to create something original, in 2020 she was captivated by her father’s sculpture in white marble from Carrara. This unique material led to her ambition to transform the stone into something wearable, elevating the deep connection to this magical stone, which has the power to transform pain into joy.

After extensive research into marble, Cristina discovered one of its greatest surprises: once cut and carved, it becomes both a light and strong stone, imparting unique lightness and elegance.

Cristina’s aim is to continue creating surprising, one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces using this elegant stone, producing sculptures that embody her artistic vision.
