Noa Dershowitz recently completed her degree in Fashion and Jewellery Design, earning recognition with four prestigious awards during her studies: the Evelyn Graber Prize in 2022 and 2024 (for her final graduation project) and the Blanche Shapiro Prize in Judaica in 2022 and 2023.

In her third year, Noa participated in a student exchange programme at the Alchimia School of Contemporary Jewellery in Florence, where she also completed four short courses: Filigree, Mixed Metals (with Patrick Davison), Stone Casting, and Blushing Metals (with Adi Toch).

Since graduating, Noa has established her brand, NEA Designs, and is currently creating her first collection of contemporary jewellery in her own studio.

In the summer of 2023, she gained further experience through internships with two notable designers: Iris Tutnauer, specialising in vessels and objects, and Paulo Bernadoni, focusing on classic jewellery.

Noa draws her inspiration from connections—between jewellery and the human body, between people, and between materials and geometric shapes—creating designs that celebrate these interwoven relationships.

Fascinated by cultural intersections, Noa uses her work as a means to communicate meaning, spark ideas, and encourage discussion. She always designs her jewellery with a specific person or concept in mind.

The concept behind her latest collection is the “unexpected”—eschewing predefined uses for her designs and avoiding predictable methods of creation. Each piece in the collection forms a unique connection to the body, offering different positioning and interaction. Each jewellery piece establishes its own rules, role, position, and shape, inviting wearers to engage with open-ended questions that defy singular answers.

Noa Dershowitz is deeply passionate about jewellery making and, as part of her design philosophy, continually researches and explores new materials and techniques. She integrates traditional methods with contemporary updates, seeking to find their unique place in today’s world.

Noa’s jewellery style is minimalistic and simple, which she believes allows wearers to freely explore their feelings and connect with each piece in their own personal way.
