The Tales of Transformation series explores the relationship between abstract forms and personal narratives through a visual and conceptual dialogue. Layers of acrylic paint create depth, reflecting the multifaceted nature of life as each layer transforms the one before it. This process symbolises constant change, where every phase transitions into the next. The true essence of the work is unveiled by peeling back its layers, mirroring the complexity of human experience. Completion occurs when the piece is reconstructed as jewellery, embodying resilience and interconnectedness. Each layer becomes a story, contributing to a narrative that evolves with every brushstroke.

Creating these pieces is a fluid process driven by spontaneity and improvisation. I begin with a white layer, representing endless possibilities. Each subsequent layer builds upon the last, with varying thickness determined by the amount of impasto mixed into the paint. I treat every layer as a complete painting, transforming and deepening what came before. The piece feels complete when I achieve a balance between what is visible and what remains hidden, although this sense of completion remains flexible. Embracing unpredictability, I allow each piece to evolve naturally.
